Online BL Printing Portal
Customers print original Bills of Lading from their own office, with one-time passwords and admin-approved reprints.
The problem
To get a Bill of Lading printed, customers had to visit the logistics partner's office in person.
Printing originals remotely needed control: who may print, on which printer, how often, and what happens when a printer jams halfway.
What we built
- Secure printingA one-time password by email or SMS before each print, and reprint requests that need admin approval.
- Desktop appAn installable Electron desktop app for printing, with features shown by role.
- Customer onboardingPrinting rights for several users per customer, with two-factor authentication.
- Dashboards and reportsOnboarded customers, print and reprint statistics, the last BL printed, and reports by customer and period.

How it's built
An Electron and Angular desktop client, Spring Boot and Node.js services on AWS, and integration with the client's ERP to fetch the BL document.
Results
- Customers print BLs from their own office instead of travelling to collect them.
- Every print and reprint is controlled and reported.
