# Jobs Management System

> A legacy PowerBuilder application moved to the cloud, so managers see jobs and reports from anywhere.

- **Client:** Mudrak
- **Industry:** Printing
- **Stack:** Angular, PrimeNG, Spring Boot, MySQL

## The problem

Mudrak, a large printing press, ran its jobs on a PowerBuilder application that worked only inside the press network. Senior managers needed job status and reports from anywhere, on open-source technology, and the target was one month.

## What we built

- **Master data:** HSN and SAC codes, taxes, clients and suppliers, with search.
- **Jobs book:** Job creation with supplier details per job.
- **Challans and invoices:** Delivery challans, and invoices across several jobs with tax calculation.
- **Reports:** Progress and status of every job.
- **Data migration:** Existing data moved from the legacy database to MySQL.

## How it's built

Angular with PrimeNG, Spring Boot on Apache Tomcat and MySQL, hosted in the cloud.

## Results

- Managers see jobs and reports outside the press network.
- Legacy data carried over to the new system.
